Spec Ops:The Line 1.0.4 crashes immediately on Mac OS X 10.11.3.

This game is great—or at least it was until the past two updates, which seem to introduce crashed. Since the latest update, I haven’t been able to get the game to launch at all. Don’t buy, at least until they fix this.

Extreme graphics no lag 3rd person shooting game

While the story line appears interesting, I stopped playing after the first 10 minutes of game play because the game is terribly balanced. On a top of the line i7 iMac this game should run smoothly, but instead it is glitchy and unresponsive - even with the graphic settings set to the lowest available levels. Not worth the $8 I paid for it - waste of hard disk space.

spec ops had a great storyline to it that developed throughout the game with a gritty perspective. It was a fun 3rd person shooter with fun gunfights and throughout. some difficulties with controlls to start of but got used to it quickly. Difficulty to find any online games on co-op or multiplayer. Give it a try.

please fix it my analog sticks wont work at all the games characters first person camera is moving by itself!!!!! please fix this i really wanna play this game

Purchased this game, but it doesn’t work on my MacBook PRO Retina 2014. It opens normally, but after 5 minutes of playing instantly closes and writes an error. So, money just gone to trash.

AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! Looks very real, storyline is great, weapons are great, graphics are great, dialoge is great...Totally Worth it!!!!!!!!!!

this game is great! the story is way different and somewhat keeping me on the edge of my seat and my eyes open the entire time! though since it is version 1 it has a lot of bugs but other than the maintence basics, it’s a great game. would love to check out the multiplayer action but we need actual PLAYERS ONLINE.

Thank you for bring such wonderful game to Mac, there are some bug and issual now, but I think it’s fixable, great work!

Version 1.0.0 is still very buggy and does not run very fluid even on the latest iMac and Macbook air. Even tested setting both machines to low resolution/detail. Once these bugs are squashed this will be an awesome game and a nice change from First person shooters.

Wait until this bug is fixed. Rediculous to play with such a messed up interface. I’m attempting to run on a brand new iMac. Total waste of 20 bucks as it is now. Could be great, is not great now.

I have a late iMac 2013 with a GTX780m video card and just like everyone else, I experience freezing during cutscenes and other parts. I also experienced a complete audio drop during the mortar level so I shut it off as I didn’t pay for a game with no audio. I have maxed out settings on titan fall and run smoothly and yet I can’t even run with lowest settings for this game. The game itself is pretty good but an update needs to come out to fix these issues or they need to drop the price cause in it’s current state, it’s not worth the price.

The actual game play is awesome, good graphics and good controls even at the lowest settings but the game crashes at almost every cut scene. I did skip the cut scenes up until the refugee part but now it just crashes every time I try to skip or load that part. Multiplayer crashes as soon as I click on the button, co-op is the same. My Mac does just meets the min requirements so it should work. Hope they fix it, its great the little I got to play it.

I use my ps3 controller for gaming and it work with other games but when I play this game with it the controls are compelely messed up and makes no sense. It doesnt match the gamepad lay out at all. I even trued the costumer support and that didn’t help.

This game is very fun the first mission is very enjoyable..too bad the game crashes on me every time i finsh it. I have a mac mini from 2011 with 16 gb of SDRAM and a 2.3 GHz i5 Processor. This game does not tell you the spec’s you need to run this game on app store page but upon research i discoved that my mac could run it. I believe people should buy this game for it is a good port but only if they fix the consitant crashes.

I rarely get attached to charters in an RPG, in this one I did. The game will appear glitchy at first during the opening sequence as it renders… just for the first time. The trick is to let it run through the first check point and then restart that level..…. The battle scenarios are intense, and employing your strategey on the fly, while managing your team, will keep you on the edge of your seat. Worth it!

This is an extremely fun game all around. Great storyline and gameplay, but it is extremely buggy. So much so that it will either stop the game and close it, or I have to do it myself because it becomes unplayable. Try to fix this issue as soon as possible!
